Greenlayer Sports Apparel was founded in Portland, Oregon. We deliver a unique blend of athletic apparel and lifestyle product. We strive to have the majority of our product line manufactured from recycled performance fabrics or organic materials. The first product we developed was a recycled polyester t-shirt, and from there we have expanded into a full running and active lifestyle product range of base layers, outerwear, and accessories that race directors, screen printers, corporate clients, and retail accounts can purchase. We make anything from the simplest t-shirt to outwear jackets, fleece, running shorts, singlets, hoodies, and performance caps. We strive to maximize eco-friendly material usage in all of our apparel and as a member of 1% for the Planet, donate a percentage of our gross margin sales to environmental causes. Known for its proximity to Mount Hood and the Columbia River Gorge, we test and develop our products here, where our designs must perform through the grueling hot summer and the rain-filled winters of the Pacific Northwest.

The concept of the headlamp seems so obvious today. However, in 1972 when Petzl invented the first headlamp, the idea of attaching the lamp and the battery case to a headband was very innovative: by freeing the hands, any activity could be carried out thanks to a beam of light that remained oriented in the direction the wearer was looking. Today, the Petzl range of headlamps, by its innovations and by its diversity responds to the demands of numerous situations, from the most extreme (caving, mountaineering, etc...) to everyday needs. From an arctic expedition to the glove box of a car, from ultra marathons to ski-mountaineering, or even reading in the hut, Petzl's expertise lights the way where ever you go.
