Mt. Diablo Trail Run

When people name landmarks, it’s typically influenced by how the particular landmark made them feel. Our guess is that a guy climbed to the the summit and decided it was so difficult that the mountain possessed some sort of demon qualities. we’ve run up it and would probably agree with that assessment. Mt. Diablo, situated just east of Danville, CA dominates the landscape in the area and its pink hue at sunset makes it look like it’s on fire. Once you start the run, you’ll forget all that and simply enjoy the beauty of the grassy meadows and rolling hills over the shoulders of Mt. Diablo. Buffed single track is often shared with other animals, including cattle; a hearty cowboy yell will clear the path for you to reach our amply stocked aid stations every 5-7 miles. After your run enjoy a bountiful post-race spread. More...
